Getting Started

Before any project is initiated, we will clearly explain all the steps and potential costs involved and ensure you're comfortable before any commitment is made. Our initial due diligence discussion will help us understand your business and your target market. We undertake research on your competitors and marketplace to help you to stand out from the rest. We stay involved with you every step of the way, and will help you make the best decisions for all aspects of your business.

Domains & Email

We will advise and assist you with acquiring the most suitable domain name for your business and search engine compatibility (if you already have a domain name, we'll assist you with linking it to your new site). We can also guide you through setting up email accounts with your new domain name (i.e. info@yourcompany.com).

Site Hosting

There is a plethora of hosting options for websites, and comparing all of the different features can get confusing. We've worked with many of the top hosting providers out there, and we can recommend the best one for your needs. We do not have any pre-existing relationships with these services, nor do we gain anything by referring you to them. We simply provide this service as an added convenience.

Website Design

When we undertake a website project, we begin with a thorough discussion about your business and the goals of your site. Once we gain some insight into the direction, we'll begin crafting a plan for your site and we'll continue to refine it throughout the design process. While content is king, the presentation of the content is equally important. We design all of our websites from scratch and we do not use templates.

Copywriting & Marketing

Marketing messages are everywhere - on billboards, on TV, on the web, in the newspaper, and in brochures. Many of these efforts are ultimately ineffective because too many words are used. With so many different media competing for attention and the reader being increasingly pressed for time, it's essential that you get your message across quickly. All client copy is written in the editorial tone, with the aim of informing (and hopefully entertaining) the reader. We believe that however dry the subject matter, there's no reason for the reader to be bored.

Search Engine Optimization

Once you are pleased with the website and have no more modifications, we will launch the website and it will then be added to all the major search engines. Search Engine Optimization is part science, and part art. There's no magic formula to get your site ranked at the top, but there are many measures that we can take in the design process to maximize the “searchability” of your website. While we cannot guarantee you will be #1 on Google, we can position your site for success.

Technical Support

All of our websites receive free technical support for the first few months after launch. This includes minor page updates, answering your questions, and assisting you with any technical issues. Any major redesign work may be subject to charges, but most of the time it is not required.

BOOKS4Less is a successful bookstore in Syracuse, NY that has over 100,000 books in stock, along with games, puzzles, greeting cards, and other products.
